WELCOME SPRING!
We have a pretty creative member living here! Jeanne Hassinger made her
own patio furniture after our big snowstorm a few weeks ago.
I wonder what her next invention will be in our next storm.
We are told to expect 6-10 inches this week!

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT - 2021
Thank you to the
Hutchinson Elks Lodge #2427
for organizing this years event!
We wanted to share some safety improvements made to our building and grounds.
1. Our Fire Sprinkler System was upgraded with removing the corroded pipes and new improved pipes installed. Picture is of the old pipes being loaded up to get recycled.
2. Our Courtyard received an upgrade in the gardens. Raising them to save the backs of our Residents and pavers put in to improve the walking stability! We splurged and added a Patio area for our Residents to use as an outdoor entertaining area. What a difference between the before and after photos!

Another Update! Check out the new look of our inside doors...
2020 has started out to be an exciting year for the Village Cooperative. A plan was approved in January to update our Common Area Spaces. Work began in February with the hope of finishing before a special Open House in the summer. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we are unable to have our Open House this year. It's anticipated to reschedule this Open House for another time.
Below are pictures we've taken of the progress. We are also excited to show off a special project that was approved during this remodel. We had two posts removed in the Lobby, opening up the room even more and making it look so much bigger!
Thank you to the Victorian Carolers for performing for us this Christmas Season (December, 2019)

We had a chance to thank our Veterans and pay tribute to those who aren't with us at a Gourmet Party on Tuesday, May 28, 2019. We want to take the time to Thank our personal Veterans we have living at the Cooperative for your sacrifice and service! Their stories were impressive, tearful and honorable. Thank you to John Bradley (Air Force), Jerry Piehl (Navy), and John Stubson (Marines). Not present or pictured is Edd Branson (Air Force). Also pictured in the slideshow are their wives. John Hassinger read a letter from a book created for American Veterans who served in the Korean War. Thank you to Serving Group A for the work you put into this party!
